Activity 3 The Animal I have Chose Is an Freshwater Seal. The Saimaa Ringed Seal is one of the Most Endangered Seals In the world.There Is about 360 Singles left the seal gives birth in a private place it digs into the snowbank. And if there is No snow banks the pups are born on the open ice and they don't have any protection against predators, cold and human disturbance. And most of the pups could die people build snow banks for the seals it is wonderful that people are helping endangered Marine Mammals. To Help The Freshwater Seals The people are making snow banks for them.Freshwater Seals Do not Have protectors.
I can see that you are quite passionate about the seals. I think the WWF volunteers did an awesome job. They didn’t directly get involved with the seals but they did really help them out. I think any seal pups born in that area should consider themselves very lucky! If you could work with the WWF, which animal do you think you would want to help? I think I would like to help the seas turtles up in the Coral Triangle ( you can read more about it here : https://www.worldwildlife.org/species/sea-turtle ).
