  1. Hello Sally,

You're doing an excellent job at completing activites! Well done on finishing the entire first week of activities, that is an awesome accomplishment. I am so happy to hear this is your favourite summer activity. We have worked extremely hard to create a programme that is not only fun but also educational and supports your learning throughout the summer break.

Your support crew looks like they would be great. Both Kura and Tehanah would be able to give you some tips on how to cycle and Marta would be great on the health and safety side of things.

In activity 3, one of the questions asked was if Starfish were a type of fish. You've answered true but it is actually false! Neither starfish or jellyfish are classified as fish which seems very strange as they have fish in their names... Can you have a look through this website: https://www.factretriever.com/fun-fish-facts and then post a new interesting fact you found out in the comments below.

Look forward to seeing more blogposts from you soon!
    Nga mihi, Georgia.

  3. Kia Ora Sally,

Nice to meet you. I hope you are enjoying your summer holidays! We are into our third week with the Summer Learning Journey and it has been so much fun. There has been so many exciting, fascinating and fun blog posts that students have shared and are continuing to create.
The last day of this programme is the 25th of January so there is still plenty of time to get those blog posts in! Remember, you could be winning an iPad and other prizes for your effort in your blog posts, how cool would that be?

You can find all the activities here on our website: https://sites.google.com/site/summerlearningjourney/weekly-activities
You can complete as many of the activities as you like, and in any order. Each activity is worth points, and remember, you can also earn points 2 points for each quality comment that you post on the blogs of other Summer Learning Journey participants. It’s that easy!

Let me know if you need any help at all, that’s what we’re here for :)
I am looking forward to hearing all the beautiful, knowledgeable and diverse ideas that you have to offer and I am also looking forward to learning from you!

    Blog you later!
